David has been involved in 34 buy-side acquisitions including $450 million of debt and equity funding, an S1, a road show presentation, and closing a $110 million High-Yield Bond offering,
From 2016 to 2021, Patterson was the Vice President of Finance of a $65 million private aerospace machine shop comprised of two facilities of 190,000 square feet. David upgraded financial systems, established a cost accounting function, and supported the revenue growth from $35 million to $65 million.
Previously, Patterson as CEO integrated two aerospace companies composed of 187,000 square feet of manufacturing and assembly space offering small/medium parts & large parts on gantries. Revenue grew from $8 million to $40 million by 2014 with a 25% EBITDA margin that was accelerated after David strategically added new hyper-speed mills that produced revenue growth of 48% in two years.
David began his career with Fortune 500 and emerging, high growth and turnaround manufacturing businesses, The highlight was at Eastman Kodak where within 90 days he was involved in turning around a military division that was losing $24 million in cash annually. At Xerox Corporation he received five promotions in less than seven years, gaining experience in all core departments: operations, sales, IT, and finance. During that period David also completed his MBA at University of Southern California in 1987.
Patterson served with Ernst & Whinney’s, Los Angeles Cost Management Practice from 1987-1989; and Ernst & Young, Chicago from 1974-1977 earning his C.P.A. in Illinois, after graduating with a BSBA from The Ohio State University in 1973. David is married with three sons.
