David has been involved with helping to start and grow businesses throughout his career.  After graduating from Brigham Young University with a business management degree, he began his career as a commercial loan officer where he grew and managed a loan portfolio of $100M.  As a loan officer, he assisted businesses with understanding their funding needs and the appropriate funding structure.  David returned to business school at Brigham Young University and earned an MBA with a focus on Venture Captial, Private Equity, and Entrepreneurship.  Since then, he has been part of several startups and growth companies across multiple industries including software and technology, soft goods manufacturing, healthcare services, and retail sales.  He sits on the board of a private foundation and the Make a Wish Foundation of Utah.  David joined Vantera Partners as an MBA Intern and recently returned to the firm opening up a Salt Lake City, Utah office.
